Week 77
16 April 2018
hey evewryone. so this week was awesome. my area is cool, it rained aton yesterday, and we got soaked but it was cool cause its been really hot lately but its gotten a little colder now. life is good.
Yesterday we had a lady in church named Reina. I was very supperised to see her at church cause 1. she didnt get on the bus that takes everyone to church (theres a member that owns a school bus that doesnt work on sundays so he brings people to church) 2. shes got two little girls that are crazy hyper. so she said she would go but late. and when we got to church yesterday there she was waiting outside of the chapel with her daughters. she liked church and is progressing a lot. she says that shes in the process of finding out if this is the truth or not.
also yesterday a member of another ward told us that he has a job for one of our investigatores so she wont have to work on sundays right now shes working like 12 hour shifts in a bar so its complicated for her to get to church, but now shell be able to go to church and get baptised which is what she wants.
Im doing well, i love this area, and the people a lot of them hate me becuse im from the states and say a lot of things to me but, i just have to let them be. let them know that Jesus loves them. I had a great week. im fin e heralthy and have killed 197 cucarachas. almost 200!!
love yall.

Week 75
2 April 2018
Hey everybody, hows it going?HAppy easter (yesterday) its been a good week. the mission is going great, its flying by all my friends in the mish are leaving. I have changes this week, i dont know where still. but ill miss this area, i didnt baptise anybody, but i reactivated a ton of people here. Some really good families. so i feel good with the work that ive done here, when i got here we were teaching only eternal investigaotres, people who had listened to the missionaries for years and never gone to church ha. but as i leave we have a ton of people with baptismal dates and going to church, so i feel good.
This week was general confrence as many of yall know, i feel that every confrence gets better and better. we had some investigatores go to the first session on saturday. It was cool that they could see that. and well, we found them when i was in interchanges with my district leader it was a cool expirence. So first we went out to visit the familiy Hernandez (the mennonites) and we talked to the one named dulce about her brother in law, Rene (his real name is Naum, but he didnt give us his real name cause thats dangerous here lol thats what dulce said) so she says oh, he lives in that mountian over there, so i say sweet lets go. so we crossed two mountians and some rivers to get to his house, and it was getting dark and we were lost haha, i could see what i thought was his house so the dl tells me call him so i did, so i see a guy on the other mountian raise his hand up to his ear and starts talking and i knew it was him. so we finally get to his house and we sit down and his house is probably the size of your bedroom made outta adobe bricks and plastic for a roof. and we start talking and he says "i called yall cause i need help but spiritually" and so that shocked me usually people ask for some pesos americanos. but he went toan acticity and a session of confrence so he seems sincere in his search of spiritual help. Im so glad that i can help these people find Jesus, cause sure, i could give him a hundred bucks and hed be happy but for a moment. I know that what we offer, spiritual help, is worth a lot more than a hundred bucks and will help him more in the long run.
love yall

Week 74
March 26
Hey everyone. This week has been a little tough, Osbaldo didnt get baptised, which is fine cause he moved back to comayagua and is living in a little town so it be hard to go to church (its like three hours away from any church building) and his aunt doesnt want him to live with her anymore, its kinda a weird situation. But yeah, the liders of the church down here are a little apostate. They follow bad tradationes of their old churches. and this whole week i havent slept well, theres a ton of water falling from the apartment above us, and they went on vacation haha and so ive been sleeping with pots and pans catching the water, i love my life haha. The weeks been really odd, i dont knkow. But i still feel super blessed, One of these blessings was that Alexis and his family came to church, they are a less active family that have been inactive for a hot minute. but we started visiting them and his boy wants to be baptised so theyve got animos to go to church. and theyre just doing really well, ALex got a new job and its a job that he loves so im really happy for him. another cool thing in this week is that i learned a ton, i feel like ive learned 100 years of knowledge in this week haha. SO what happened is that, a lady named Mama Suyapa died. She was like the mom of the whole mission, she LOVED the missionaries. SHe would cook in almost every meeting that we had as missionaries, and shed make a ton of good food and cake and good juice. A good lady, but she passed on. And my comp was pretty sad and so i sat thinking to myself, "thats is sad." and then a thought came into my mind that she no longer exists. I thought about that for a while, but i as i thought i realized, that this isnt the end of her life, that after death you still live, and that made me feel nice cause thats one of the blessings that the gospel gives us, that we can always know that we will be able to see our loved ones again.
well thats almost everything, i love yall.
