Week 54
Hey everybody, Hows it going? Im doing fine, I feel like i just wrote a weekly letter an hour ago. The time is going by so fast i cant believe it. Well this weeek we didnt really have a lot of time in our area we went to comayagua to have a meeting multizona. (I love comayagua so much.) And i got to go do a baptism interview in zambrano which is like two hours away and we were in the Divina Providencia, which is like an hour away so we were supposed to get there at 4 we got there at like 5ish. and it took so long waiting for a bus, we started walking there cause there werent any, and then finally there was a bus and it was full but we forced our way on. we ended up half way in and half way out riding up a mountain. I love Honduras lol. But the interview went great the Guy was ready and his mom was stoked to see him get baptised. So that was two of the days of the weeek working outside of my area. But something ive learned is when Im serving in the other areas God works in my area for me, so it balences out.
So this week we had a little miracle and had six investigatores in church, theyre really good people. Just some of them neeed to get married and thats complicated here. Others are little kids who dont have support form their families but are going to church. How cool is that.
But Daniel didnt go to church (i think its for his girlfriend, shes in a different congragation. And the pastores tell them that its a sin to listen to us. lol) so Daniel is doing really well. he just needs to make a decsion. he is reading the book of mormon, and he Loves it! but his mom doesnt like the church and he really respects her. so hes got some problems, but he'll be fine. But i was really bummed when he didnt get to church, like, church is a little thing we can do to show our faith. andfor me its really simple. go to church get blessed. who doesnt what blessings? Daniel cause he doesnt wanna go to church. jaja.
Weve also been visiting a guy named Danilo and his wife sofia. and hes super cool. he works at a metodist school and works with greengos. but everytime i go to there house the whip out the peanut butter and jelly and they tell me, "we know greengos love this stuff." Right now theyre not going to church, but. They will soon, Danilo saw General Confrence. he liked it. and wants to know more.
Oscar is a youth that we are teaching. He is 13 yrs old and a little difficult, he always has his friends over and they make him embarassed to listen to us. And he has a hard time paying attention. So when we go there weve started going when his moms not there, cause when shes there she just tells us everything wrong with her kid. and we just start talking with him. He always reads what we leave. and in the middle of our normal conversaciones he'll ask us something about the gospel. and yesterday he said that he wants to be baptised and his mom is a member so the permission isnt a problem. the only thing is is that he goes to another church and he only goes there cause they pay his scholarship. so he just has an hour to come to church with us then he goes to La metodista.
This week was halloween. we carved some sandias and put them outside with candles. and the day after some kids asked us if we had pumpkins.
My comp and i are doing well, hes funny. He literally breaks everything and is just a goofy goober.
Well I love yall
