Week 21

Hey yall so hows it going? Ugh this morning has been nuts. Lol, pretty much like everyday. but a few things happened this week that were good.


So first with Jordy, guy has been missing for a hot minute right? And so we went to go visit his mom and see hows shes doing, cause shes been going through a ton. So we were at his how talking and we asked about him and she told us that he called her the other day and he is in rehab. He was just roaming around I guess and thought itd be a good idea. But the rehab, costs 1500 a month and hes would be there for 20 months. And theres no way he or his family could pay that and so they gave it to him for free. What?! Who does that? What a miracle. Dang that was super awesome.


Other cool thing i was teaching a lesson and it was literally perfect and they really wanted to listen to us and lol, and the end of the lesson Jose asked me a question, and i looked at him for a few seconds. and thougt, "why did he start speaking spanish to me?" I couldnt tell yall if I just felt like it was all in english or if it really was. That was for sure a miracle.


But, i have no time.Love all.

Week 20

Hey everybody! Hows it going? Im good over here, this week has literally felt like a weird long day. But its been good, we had some cool things happen. And some weird things too haha.


First thing that was really good we got this reference form this lady at church, and the Guys name is Jurden, he has 19 years and is her son. He is kinda a rough dude, has some peircings and never wears a shirt (thats like a gang thing here) So when we got to her house shes ranting about how our church is the best and telling him the things he needs to change and, Im sitting there like, "Gee this dude is not even gonna want to talk with us, his mom is just gonna puch him away talking like this." So we start talking to him about the restauracion and he tells us like, "I already believe this." cool. So hes gotta a date to be baptised Marzo 18.


So with Jordy, I dont know what were gonna do, his family is pretty sad about his choices and the other morning just dipped (pretty sure hes looking for his dog) and no ones seen him since. Hes got a big past with some gangs so wondering around in other areas is dangerous for him. And here the gangs only like killing youth his age and so, hes gonna get in trobule with gangs and probably get killed. But, i hope its not so. Holy Cow Pray for that guy.


Las Hermanas of Country B had a baptism this weekend and we had everything ready. I enterviewed the guy and everything (funny thing, as we were talking he asked em two things, First "Did your government send this building here?" And second, "Are people gonna laugh when they see a old man join the churhc and get baptised?") But, what happened this saturday? He didnt show up to his baptism haha. So next week were hoping that hell remember (hes like 80 years old haha)


And yeah thats pretty much my week, being a good little missionary haha.

Week 19

Hey guys! Hows it going! So im out here in the Mission. Enjoying my life, I have been super busy this week. The ZL are putting a ton of "responsibilty" on me, but its cause they dont wanna do work. So yeah, we had like 5 meetings this week and a an activity of our ward. That so ive been super stressed with all that. So I had some cool things this week happen,


First, we had the chance to teach a boy who is 8 years old and wants to be baptised. The family lives in iberia (the members say that thats where the wars is right now, did you know about a war here? neither did I lol) It was weird cause he got super adhd or something so it was hard to get him to listen. But, he is a super special person. Hes got a good heart. This family has nothing, but they gave us everything literally. They all sat on the floor and insisted that we use the couch. The kids all gave us marbles and we brought sinckers to share with them and they split them up and gave us some. Super giving and loving, I love meeting the people like this out here. It makes everything bad worth it.


So, a little update with Jordy. After Guy went to the temple, he started getting bad stuff in his life. Like every time we do something good, the adversary doesnt like that so well get tempted more too. So what happened is guys dog ran away and isnt anywhere to be found. And that cause of this he is back into his drugs and drinking, the other day he was super drunk in the street and super high, yelling at his brother that he was gonna kill him and worse stuff that id rather not say hehe. but, we sat with him for a few hours that day and tried reasoning with him. Ha, we´ll see. I know that I really cant do anything for him, but Christ can. So im not too stressed about it.

Week 18

Hey guys. I just realized actually how short my letters actually are, sorry i feel bad. But, im not gonna change. Theyre probably gonna start getting shorter haha. (sorry mom and dad.) So, I used to talk about the cucaraches i killed here, i bought poisn for the house, so im at a solid 76. But, no more in my bed so thats awesome!


So this week has been odd. Theres the new schedule change and i should be going to bed at 930. but i get to bed at like 1030 cause of talking with the zl and the district. matame lol. Also training a new missinoary is different. During my training I went without a pillow, had a plastic spoon i bought my first week (that i still had up until this week) and my comp never talked. But this change, my comp likes to talk but, he took my spoon. kinda made about that. And, the other night i walked into our room and he was using my pillow. So, you could say im pretty happy hehe. The mission is super fun, it makes me think of why I would ever want to live with anyone ever again. haha. But, Its not really important, were having a good time and learning a ton.


My new comp is great in lessons. Mostly cause he listens to the people and shares his testimony any chance he gets. We were teaching this lady who is super interested in the change of life that the gospel will bring her. We gave her a Libro de Mormon and she was like, "wow, i love hows there references for scriptures in the bible, but, i dont have the bible." I told her, "Oh yeah, well get you one from a member." my comp said, "here you can have mine." I asked him later, "what are you gonna do with a bible?" He was like, "she needed it" So you could say were teaching a ton of cool people, and Im learning a ton.


THis week had some weird stuff, couldnt find people to teach and some of the reicent converts are not going to church, Like, Jordy, found him in the street huffing and drunk. So, were gonna, do something to help him. Couldnt tell you what cause i dont have the capacity to help a guy in that position but, i can tell you that with the help we have from the lord we can do everything.

Week 17

Hey yall, so whats going on? Im loosing my mind right now. Im kinda sick againits been for aboutta week. I think i ate some bad meat lol. But, I just finished my training, and now im district leader and im training another missionary. The hermanas are going to the city to talk with a dermatologist and theres a dunkin donuts and so im having them buy me a box for my new compa. hope he likes them lol. My life is gonna be super stressful, and im not ready. but its fine, Ill learn a ton, and im progressing, thats the best part of life.


So this week not a ton happened It was fine i guess. I spent a lot of the week looking for new people to teach, but nobody wanted anything except for a dude named cristian. Guy is super young, and has a ton of questions. So were down to teach him. So we went to his neighbors house who is a member, i dont think that he was too comfortable with his family knowing that we were teaching him. and so were teaching about prophets. and we asked the boy, "what do you know about prophets?" and he said nothing, the hermana turned aroud and said, "you guys are prophets" NoOPE. we arent.


We also met a young mom and her husband who want to know more too, her name is Dilsy. and shes kinda passive about her church attendance but, she wants to know more. so we'll be teaching them this week.


Well, thats about it for this week. The book of Mormon is super true, and remember to read it every day if you wanna better life. Hope the week is a good one.

Week 16

Hey whats going on? The week here has been good, just waiting to for the transfers out here. were working hard, had three baptisms this week, Bryan, Karen and her daughter Ileana. Karen.


The Baptism was nuts. Every time something good is about to happpen, theres always opposition before baptism. So the other elders had a baptism at four but there were super late and ours started at five. there were hermanas who needed the font to have hot water cause their investagador got his leg chopped off and cant only use hot water- the only wat to heat water here is the oven or a metal coil attached to a cord you plug into the wall haha. so it was taking for ever. and then Bryan, his baptism was at six. He showed up at five thirty. Karen is a big lady- the clothes we brought didnt fit her. So the crap hit the fan on saturday. But, all the baptisms happened, they were all happy and so are we. except for the aunt of Bryan, she got mad cause we didnt take a pictue of Bryan in our White clothes. Called my comp a Planchero which is like a sinner while on a mish or rule breaker. lol, super obedient guy. not a planchero. haha.


So, Im doing super good out here i love the people and i love serving them. A lot of them call me the niño grande haha. They say that im like a kid. Which is super good! Kids are the happiest and most charitable persons i have ever come in contact with. And honestly, i fell like a "niño grande." I am super happy out here. And its not that ive always been this way, so im diffeerent cause of the mish. And its not really the mish. I attribute it to graditude. We should all be grateful for the life weve been given. Especially up in the states, gee.


Well thats it, sorry its lame and short like everyweek haha. But, im doing super good out here, i love the gospel and being in the lords work.
