Week 51

Hey everyone. Oh its like three. And i just started writing. Its casue my comp is dead and has been taking his sweet time with everything. But i am very grateful that he decided to do so his last day rather than his last change. As well this week we start a new change. I am staying here in cuidad españa and Elder Del Hoyo is coming here. Cool dude, he was born in country ( my first zone) with me.


So a ton happened this week, we have really been super blessed. We have lessones everyday. (Even today) but i love it.


So Elizabeth got baptised!! Finally and she did it all secretly it was really cool. Shes pretty bold haha. We decided the other thursday to visit her and she asked when is my interview bautismal. Then friday she snuck outta her house to come to the chapel to have the interview. and the saturday she snuck out to be baptised. BUt sunday she came to church, but with her dad who didnt know that she got baptised (but he did give persmsion) so when she got confirmed it was a suprise., but he was happy for her.


Okay really thats all i got time for.

Week 50

Hey whatta week. We have been looking for computers all day haha. We took a bus to another town to find an atm. Haha i love it here.


So this week we visited Elizabeth. She is doing fine. Shes still waiting on permision to get baptised from her Dad. but shes wanting to get baptised this weekend. We´ll see what we do tomorrow. shes super stoked to be baptised, and she loved the confrence. I looked over at her and she was taking some notes and all. hah


So as well, weve been visiting Gloria and Jose. Wow. Theyre something. They wanna be baptised, really bad. They come to church and everything but, they just dont see it impotrtant getting baptiseed. We have explained it backwards and forwards. But they just dont understand it. we visited them three times this week. and everytime Gloria said "i gotta question." she says, "why do I gotta get married to get baptised. were not breaking any rules." and her husband says, "were living like brother and sister right now,." makes sense right? but theyre living together. it doesnt work like that lol.


We also visited Jose and Vilma. Oh man, they are awesome! The day they get baptised will be the worst day of the Devils life lol. We explained to them how we dont take offerings in the congragation and how we all live by working. they were amazed. we showed them a tithing slip and theyre minds were blown about how perfect the organization is of the church.
also we visited em. and they had some neighbors over, and Jose started testifing to them about how this chruch was reveled by God, and jose smith was just an instrument in Gods hands. And said to his wife, "they are in the truth." we gave him a book of mormon and he was excited to read it.


And Eduard is fine, he didnt come to church and so we moved his baptismal date.. again. and so i shared a scripture that says, do what you say youll do. so well see haha


In this week a lot of people that we contacteed asked about Jose Smith and, one lady said, "ive always thought abou toging to your chruch.. but i would just feel uncomfortable praying to him" we dont pray to him haha
another guy asked, "wait, you dont have idols of Jose smith in your church?" nope. haha
crazy people here believe whatever they hear.


I also was studing this week and was thinking alot about charity and how its really the love of God. Like we gotta realize, how much God really loves us. Like, we just get little miracles everyday just outta his love. and then i think we all gotta be more loving. If we loved like how God loves us, we would never have any problems.

Week 49

Hey everybody. This week was nuts. It went by so fast, i was seriously all over the place. I took like 16 busses in 4 days. Doing all kinds of stuff. We went to a place called siguatepeque, which is 4 hours away. We had baptismal interviews and interchanges. But it has been a blast.


So our investigatores are fine. Eduard is doing great a little worried about leaving coffe but he really wants to be baptised. He is super stoked, but doesnt wanna go to church so well see haha.


It turns out that theres a lot of people here that wanna be baptised but never come to church. Like i found a lady that we were teaching but that we stoppped visiting cause she never had time for us or to go to church. But yesterday in the street she stopped us and sasked if she was still gonna be baptised. I was shocked, how can you be baptised ina church that you have never been too? How will you know how to get to your baptism? haha


But we are teaching two families. Wendy and eber. and Gloria and Jose. but they arent married so were gonna have to get them married. theyre cool. They love the church and wanna be members. and they all wanna get married, but theyre just poor. but God will help us out, theyll find the money.


We have been teaching this lady and her sisters named vivan. we had a lesson where i didnt say a word. everytime i tried talking my comp cut me off. he said the opening prayer and the last prayer. and trust me. it wasnt my fault i wanted to talk but he didnt let me. but you already know, when i got outta that lesson. i just looked at him and said, "buddy, i love you. youre a great missionary. but are you kidding me?" and he felt really bad. its funny now. and now we are really working hard on having equal talking time. haha but in a later lesson with her we started out by inviting her sister to pray and she didnt want to. so vivan pipes up and says,"just say Lord Jesus!" haha. theyre so weird but i love em haha.


so down here theres a drink i dig called mate. and i was drinking it in the house of some members and the daughter ( shes like 5) told me, "your breath stinks. and so does that drink. can i have some?" i said, "youll hate it." but i gave her it. and she spit it all over me. haha, my shirt had some gnarly green stains all over. but nothing that bleach and a wash board cant solve lol.


I also saw a drunk fighting a drunk lady who had a baby in her arms. the drunk stole her babay and took it to her house. and some guys from the chruch that they were fighting infront of got into it too. and then some gangsters went in to break it up. it was nuts. haah


it has been a great week. if you guys want something good to read Read Mosiah 4 in the book of mormon. Quality stuff. talks about giving. and who we should give to. READ IT.
