Week 74

March 26

Hey everyone. This week has been a little tough, Osbaldo didnt get baptised, which is fine cause he moved back to comayagua and is living in a little town so it be hard to go to church (its like three hours away from any church building) and his aunt doesnt want him to live with her anymore, its kinda a weird situation. But yeah, the liders of the church down here are a little apostate. They follow bad tradationes of their old churches. and this whole week i havent slept well, theres a ton of water falling from the apartment above us, and they went on vacation haha and so ive been sleeping with pots and pans catching the water, i love my life haha. The weeks been really odd, i dont knkow. But i still feel super blessed, One of these blessings was that Alexis and his family came to church, they are a less active family that have been inactive for a hot minute. but we started visiting them and his boy wants to be baptised so theyve got animos to go to church. and theyre just doing really well, ALex got a new job and its a job that he loves so im really happy for him. another cool thing in this week is that i learned a ton, i feel like ive learned 100 years of knowledge in this week haha. SO what happened is that, a lady named Mama Suyapa died. She was like the mom of the whole mission, she LOVED the missionaries. SHe would cook in almost every meeting that we had as missionaries, and shed make a ton of good food and cake and good juice. A good lady, but she passed on. And my comp was pretty sad and so i sat thinking to myself, "thats is sad." and then a thought came into my mind that she no longer exists. I thought about that for a while, but i as i thought i realized, that this isnt the end of her life, that after death you still live, and that made me feel nice cause thats one of the blessings that the gospel gives us, that we can always know that we will be able to see our loved ones again.
well thats almost everything, i love yall.
